Testing a new drug combo for advanced bile duct cancer

ORR,OS,PFS

Part of Cancer clinical trials.

This trial tests a combination of three medicines—an immunotherapy (sintilimab), an anti-angiogenic drug (bevacizumab), and two chemotherapy drugs (gemcitabine and cisplatin, called AG)—as a first treatment for bile duct cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. The goal is to see if this cocktail can shrink tumors or slow their growth better than standard therapy.

Study drug mix for unresectable gallbladder cancer

This Phase 2 trial tests a combination of cancer medicines (gemcitabine plus albumin-paclitaxel) along with immune therapy (sintilimab) and a blood-vessel–targeting drug (bevacizumab). It’s for people with gallbladder cancer that can’t be removed by surgery, to see if the treatment controls the cancer and improves outcomes.

Combination therapy before surgery for high-risk bile duct cancer

This trial tests a combination of chemotherapy directly into the liver artery, an immunotherapy drug, and a targeted therapy pill before surgery for a type of bile duct cancer that has a high chance of coming back. The goal is to see if this approach can improve outcomes for patients whose cancer is still removable but has certain high-risk features.

Sequential anti-angiogenic therapy after immunotherapy for advanced bile duct cancer

This trial tests whether giving a drug that blocks blood vessel growth (anti-angiogenic therapy) after immunotherapy can help people with advanced bile duct, gallbladder, or cholangiocarcinoma that cannot be removed by surgery. The goal is to see if this sequence improves outcomes for patients who have not had prior treatment for advanced disease.
