CAR-DC cell therapy for end-stage lung fibrosis

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old and have a diagnosis of IPF.
  • Your lung function has been getting worse despite taking standard IPF medications like pirfenidone or nintedanib.
  • You qualify for a lung transplant based on declining lung function or other criteria, but you have decided not to have a transplant.
  • You have not had any prior cellular immunotherapy (like CAR-T) in the last 3 months.
  • Your blood counts are adequate: hematocrit above 30%, lymphocyte count above 0.5 billion/L, and platelet count above 60 billion/L.
  • You do not have a history of blood clots, active infections, or certain other medical conditions.
