Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with prostate cancer that has not spread beyond the prostate and is considered 'intermediate risk' by your doctor.
  • You are planning to receive radiation therapy to the prostate only (not the whole pelvis).
  • You are not currently taking high-dose steroids or other immune-suppressing drugs.
  • You do not have active liver disease like cirrhosis or hepatitis.
  • You have not had prior treatment for prostate cancer, except possibly a TURP procedure.
