Who can take part

  • Age between 6 and 15 years.
  • Mild sleep-disordered breathing (like snoring or pausing breathing during sleep) confirmed by a sleep study in the last 6 months.
  • Enlarged tonsils (grade 2 or higher) and no reasons why surgery wouldn't be safe.
  • Had an X-ray to check for scoliosis at your first visit.
  • Bones are still growing (Risser sign 0-3) and spine curve is less than 40 degrees on X-ray.
  • Parent and child agree to take part and follow the study plan.
