PIC Cystogram vs VCUG for Children Having Urological Surgery

Who can take part

  • Your child must be between birth and 18 years old.
  • Your child is going to have a type of urological surgery done with a small camera (endoscopic surgery).
  • Your child either has had a VCUG (a special X-ray of the bladder) in the past, or it's okay if they haven't had one.
  • Your child must not have had prior surgery for reflux or to reimplant the ureters.
  • Your child must not have a condition called neurogenic bladder or severe lower urinary tract problems.
