Who can take part

  • You are between 19 and 85 years old.
  • You have had shoulder pain for more than 3 months that didn't get better with standard treatments like physical therapy, painkillers, or injections.
  • Your shoulder can't move more than 90 degrees in any direction.
  • You agree to only use the pain treatments allowed during the study (certain medications and injections).
  • You are willing to attend all follow-up visits and phone calls.
  • You have not had surgery on that shoulder, do not have a full rotator cuff tear, and do not have bleeding disorders, serious arm vessel problems, or allergies to gelatin or contrast dye.
