  • You are scheduled for shoulder surgery.
  • You are between 20 and 65 years old.
  • Your BMI is between 18 and 30 (a healthy weight range).
  • You do not have serious breathing or lung problems.
  • You are not allergic to numbing medications (local anesthetics).
