  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You are scheduled for elective (planned, non-emergency) arthroscopic shoulder surgery
  • Your body mass index is below 30 kg/m² (generally a healthy weight range for your height)
  • You have no serious lung disease or abnormal chest X-ray results
  • You have no serious liver, kidney, mental health, or neurological conditions
  • You are able to provide written informed consent and understand the study
