Who can take part

  • You are between 22 and 80 years old.
  • You have a single brain aneurysm that has not burst and is located in a specific part of the internal carotid artery.
  • The aneurysm is either wide-necked (neck is at least 4 mm or ratio of dome to neck less than 2) or is large or giant (over 10 mm).
  • The artery around the aneurysm is between 2.0 and 5.5 mm wide.
  • You have not had a stroke or brain bleed in the past 6 months, and no other major health issues like bleeding disorders or serious allergies.
