Who can take part
- You have advanced periodontitis (stage III or IV) with at least 5mm of attachment loss and deep pockets (6mm or more).
- You are 18 or older, with low plaque and bleeding after initial gum treatment.
- You have a bone defect between teeth that is at least 3mm deep on x-ray.
- You are a non-smoker or smoke fewer than 10 cigarettes a day.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy in the next 6 months.
- You have no uncontrolled health conditions like diabetes or recent antibiotics.
