Who can take part

  • You must have a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease with memory loss and trouble in at least one other thinking skill, like language or planning.
  • You or your legal representative must agree to participate before or during the assessment.
  • You cannot have had a head injury that caused you to lose consciousness for more than an hour.
  • You must not have a serious psychiatric condition, like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.
  • You must not be taking medications that might affect your thinking or brain function (the study doctor will decide this).
