Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with definite ALS.
  • You speak Spanish as your first language or are a monolingual Spanish speaker.
  • You can read and write in Spanish.
  • You have a speech score of 2 or higher on the ALS Functional Rating Scale (meaning you can still speak, even if it's not perfect).
  • You do not have other serious lung diseases like COPD or emphysema, and you do not currently smoke.
