Who can take part

  • Your baby was born at a participating hospital.
  • Your baby is between 24 weeks and 1 day and 29 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy (before 30 weeks).
  • Your baby is less than 6 hours old.
  • Your baby is on breathing support without a breathing tube (like CPAP or similar).
  • Your baby has been diagnosed with respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) based on symptoms and chest X-ray.
  • Your baby needs extra oxygen (more than 30%) to keep oxygen levels in the target range (90-94%).
