Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old with end-stage kidney disease and are waiting for a kidney transplant.
  • You are a 'highly sensitized' patient, meaning your immune system has high levels of antibodies that make it hard to find a matching kidney.
  • You either have a living donor with a positive crossmatch test, or you are on the waiting list with a PRA score of 80% or higher.
  • You must be up to date on vaccinations and have tested negative for latent tuberculosis within the last 3 months.
  • You are willing to stay in the hospital for at least 2 weeks after the study drug infusion and live within 2 hours of the hospital for an additional 2 weeks.
  • You agree to use highly effective birth control (if applicable) for at least 3 years after the treatment.
