Who can take part

  • You are 18–60 years old
  • You have end-stage kidney disease and are currently on dialysis
  • You are highly sensitized (have very high levels of antibodies against donor kidneys, typically ≥95%)
  • You are currently on a deceased-donor kidney transplant waiting list
  • Your heart, lungs, liver, and bone marrow are healthy enough to safely handle strong chemotherapy and stem cell transplantation
  • You can understand the study and commit to long-term follow-up visits
