Who can take part
- You are a woman aged 18 to 75 years old.
- You have advanced or metastatic breast cancer (confirmed by biopsy) that has grown despite prior hormone therapy after surgery.
- You are postmenopausal, perimenopausal, or premenopausal.
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans or exams.
- You have not been treated with fulvestrant or certain other new hormone blockers (except tamoxifen or toremifene).
- Your cancer is not rapidly progressing or needing immediate chemotherapy, and you have no uncontrolled brain metastases or serious heart disease.
