  • You have been diagnosed with an underactive or overactive thyroid (whether or not you are on treatment).
  • Or you have a healthy thyroid and can serve as a comparison volunteer.
  • You do not have any liver disease.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You do not have a serious infection or heart disease.
