Who can take part
- Age 18 or older
- Recently diagnosed with an underactive thyroid (within 3 months) or have thyroid antibodies
- Have fatty liver disease confirmed by ultrasound and a special liver stiffness test
- Do not have diabetes
- Do not drink more than 2–3 drinks per day (or equivalent alcohol amount)
- Liver function tests are not severely abnormal
