Thyroid Disease and Fatty Liver Disease Study

OvertSub-clinicalPrimary HypothyroidismMetabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatoic Liver DiseaseNon-Diabetic Patients

Part of Hormones & metabolism clinical trials.

This study looks at the connection between thyroid problems (especially when the thyroid doesn't make enough hormone) and a common liver condition where fat builds up in the liver. Researchers want to understand how these two conditions relate to each other in people without diabetes.

Thyroid function and fatty liver disease study

This study looks at how your thyroid might be linked to fatty liver disease (MAFLD). It aims to help researchers understand if thyroid problems play a role in this condition, which could lead to better treatments.

Thyroid and liver health study

This study looks at whether having an underactive thyroid can affect the build-up of scar tissue in the liver in people with a condition called MASLD (fatty liver disease linked to metabolic problems). If you have both underactive thyroid and fatty liver, this could help us understand your risk for liver damage.

Thyroid hormone treatment for fatty liver in Veterans

This trial tests whether thyroid hormone can improve nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (fatty liver with inflammation) in Veterans. You may be asked to have a medically needed liver biopsy, and the study also focuses on safety in people with related conditions like diabetes and heart risks.

Study of liver fat disease with heart and metabolism problems

This study looks at people with fatty liver disease and common health issues like obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, or abnormal cholesterol. It may help researchers understand how liver fat and heart/metabolism problems relate and how they affect health over time.

Fatty liver disease study using liver biopsy

This study classifies fatty liver disease (MAFLD) by examining liver tissue samples. It aims to better understand how metabolic risk factors like high blood sugar, high blood pressure, or excess weight relate to the liver's condition.
