Who can take part
- You have mild to moderate open-angle glaucoma, normal-tension glaucoma, or stable non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy in at least one eye.
- Your corrected vision in each eye is 20/200 or better (able to read the big E on a chart).
- You use no more than one type of prescription eye drop to control eye pressure (prior glaucoma laser or surgery more than 3 months ago is allowed).
- You have not used beta-blocker eye drops (like timolol) in the last 3 months.
- You do not have other active eye diseases like severe diabetic retinopathy or macular degeneration that need treatment during the study.
- Your general health is stable – no poorly controlled blood pressure, severe kidney disease, or psychiatric conditions that could affect study results.
