Who can take part
- You have newly diagnosed prostate cancer that needs staging, or your cancer has come back after initial treatment (surgery or radiation).
- Your cancer is considered high-risk: either your Gleason score is 8 or higher, or your PSA is 20 ng/mL or higher.
- You must be able to give written permission to use your medical information.
- You cannot have any kidney, bladder, or urinary tract problems that might affect the scan results.
- You must be able to lie still in a PET/CT scanner without severe claustrophobia or weight issues.
