Who can take part

  • You must have high-risk prostate cancer that has not spread to distant organs, confirmed by biopsy within the last 6 months.
  • You are scheduled to receive a specific type of radiation called SABR along with hormone therapy.
  • You must have a PSMA PET scan showing a clear tumor in the prostate that can be targeted for a higher radiation dose.
  • You have not had any prior surgery or radiation to treat your prostate cancer, except short-term hormone therapy (less than 3 months) if it was stopped at least 3 months ago.
  • You agree to use effective birth control during and for 6 months after treatment if you are sexually active.
  • You do not have severe urinary symptoms (AUA score of 18 or less) and your prostate is not too large (100 cc or less).
