  • Be between 25 and 75 years old
  • Able to lie on your back for up to 90 minutes
  • No significant kidney or liver disease
  • No uncontrolled high blood pressure or active infections
  • Not pregnant or breastfeeding, and willing to use effective birth control if needed
  • No history of lung disease or conditions that could affect your lungs

This trial tests an experimental drug called XBD173 to see if it can reduce blood vessel inflammation and lower pressure in the lungs of people with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). If you have a PAH diagnosis, are on two or more PAH medications, and already have a heart and lung monitor implanted, this study may be an option for you.
