Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your BMI is between 25 and 40. If it is between 25 and 30, you must also have at least one related health condition like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, prediabetes, or type 2 diabetes.
  • You are not currently in a formal weight loss program or taking weight loss medications.
  • You have never had weight loss surgery.
  • You have not lost more than 5% of your body weight recently (for example, 10 pounds for a 200-pound person).
  • You are not currently pregnant, and you can safely do moderate physical activities like brisk walking.
