Taping for Rounded Shoulders in College Students
Part of Bones, joints & muscles, Pain clinical trials.
This study tests whether a special tape (kinesiotape) applied to the shoulders can immediately improve rounded shoulder posture in university students. It may help if you have mild to moderate rounding and no other shoulder or spine problems.

This study tests whether kinesiotaping (a special elastic tape placed on the back) can improve posture and balance in people with an exaggerated upper back curve (hyperkyphosis). It may help you if you have poor posture or back pain and meet the age and curve requirements.
This study tests whether a combination of Kinesio taping (a type of elastic tape applied to the back) and Schroth therapy (specialized exercises for scoliosis) can help reduce pain in young adults with mild to moderate idiopathic scoliosis. If you are between 18 and 30, have a curve of 10–30 degrees, and have had recent back pain, this trial may be an option for you.
This study tests whether a special athletic tape (Kinesio tape) applied to your lower back and shoulder area can improve flexibility and reduce shoulder pain in people with chronic shoulder impingement syndrome—a condition where shoulder structures get pinched, causing long-term pain and stiffness.
This study tests whether kinesiology tape (a special stretchy tape applied to the skin) can reduce pain and improve function in people with rotator cuff syndrome, a common shoulder condition. You'll be randomly assigned to receive the tape or a control treatment and tracked over several weeks.
This study tests if kinesio taping (a special elastic tape placed on the skin) can help relieve pain from trigger points in the upper shoulder muscle. You will receive the taping as part of the treatment, and the study will see how it affects your pain.
This trial looks at whether kinesio tape (elastic therapeutic tape) helps pain and movement after a fresh shoulder or chest wall injury. It’s designed for certain types of rib, collarbone, or shoulder joint injuries when the injury happened very recently.
