Subacromial Impingement SyndromeShoulder Pain

Part of Bones, joints & muscles, Injuries & trauma, Pain clinical trials.

This study tests whether a special athletic tape (Kinesio tape) applied to your lower back and shoulder area can improve flexibility and reduce shoulder pain in people with chronic shoulder impingement syndrome—a condition where shoulder structures get pinched, causing long-term pain and stiffness.

Rigid taping for acromioclavicular joint degeneration

This study tests whether a special rigid tape applied to the shoulder can reduce pain and improve function in people with acromioclavicular (AC) joint degeneration. The AC joint is where your collarbone meets the top of your shoulder blade, and this condition can cause pain and stiffness.

Kinesiology taping and shoulder exercises for shoulder pain

This trial tests if kinesiology taping (a special type of tape applied to the shoulder) plus exercises that strengthen the shoulder blades works better than just exercises alone for people with shoulder impingement syndrome (a common cause of shoulder pain). You may qualify if you have had pain on the front or side of your shoulder for at least 3 months and have certain positive tests from a physical therapist.
