Who can take part
- You have had all standard treatments for localized prostate cancer (like surgery or radiation) and your cancer has started to come back based on rising PSA.
- Your testosterone level is normal (not lowered by recent hormone therapy).
- A CT or bone scan shows no cancer spread to distant organs, and any lymph nodes found on a PSMA PET scan are small.
- Your PSA is at least 1 ng/mL after prostate removal or at least 2 ng/mL above the lowest point after radiation, confirmed by a second test 2 weeks later.
- You have decided not to start hormone therapy yet, or your doctor says you do not need it right away.
- You do not have significant liver disease or lupus (any type).
