Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 3 and 14 years old.
  • Your child must have a respiratory infection (either Mycoplasma pneumonia, another acute infection, or repeated infections) OR be a healthy volunteer with no respiratory infection in the past month.
  • Your child must not have taken antibiotics, probiotics, immune drugs, or steroids in the last 15–30 days.
  • Your child must not have other serious illnesses like heart disease, immune problems, or major organ issues.
  • You (the guardian) must agree to the study and sign a consent form.
