Who can take part
- Your child is between 1 and 12 years old
- Your child is having planned surgery under general anesthesia
- Your child is healthy (ASA 1 or 2) and not extremely overweight
- Your child does not have muscle or nerve disease or diaphragm paralysis
- Your child is not taking medications that affect muscle function
- You can provide a completed sleep questionnaire about your child's sleep habits
