NCT06770179Enrolling by invitation
Lung breathing maneuver for kids during surgery

This study tests a special breathing maneuver (ultrasound-guided lung recruitment) during surgery to see if it helps prevent small areas of lung collapse in children. It may help kids with longer surgeries keep their lungs open and working better afterward.

NCT07380321Recruiting
Diaphragm ultrasound for children with sleep apnea

This study uses ultrasound to measure diaphragm movement in children with sleep apnea during routine surgery. It may help doctors better understand how sleep apnea affects breathing.

NCT07325812Recruiting
Lung opening maneuvers during spine surgery

This study tests whether periodic lung opening maneuvers during back surgery can reduce lung collapse and improve breathing mechanics. Doctors will use ultrasound to monitor your lungs.

NCT06447818Recruiting
Airway changes after sleep apnea surgery

This study looks at how surgery for obstructive sleep apnea (a condition where breathing stops and starts during sleep) may affect your airway. The goal is to understand if the surgery makes it easier to manage your airway in the future.

Automated lung opening steps during laparoscopic surgery

This trial tests a computer-controlled method to open collapsed lung parts during laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery. It aims to improve breathing and reduce complications after surgery.

Ultrasound lung openings to prevent breathing problems after hysterectomy

This trial tests if using ultrasound-guided lung opening maneuvers during surgery can reduce lung complications after a total laparoscopic hysterectomy in patients with sleep apnea. It may help you if you have obesity and sleep apnea.
