Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 1 and 18 years old.
  • Your child must be scheduled for a planned (elective) surgery (not an emergency).
  • Your child will need a breathing tube placed during anesthesia.
  • Your child's health status should be ASA I, II, or III (generally healthy or with mild to severe but stable conditions).
  • Your child must not have known face/skull differences, airway birth defects, or limited neck movement.
