Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have unstable angina or a recent heart attack (more than 48 hours ago) and need a stent procedure (PCI).
  • You are at high risk for bleeding according to standard criteria (e.g., age over 75, low red blood cell count, or on blood thinners).
  • You have not had heart surgery or a stent in the last 6 months.
  • You are not in cardiogenic shock and no planned bypass surgery.
