This trial tests if the drug maralixibat can help women with a liver condition called intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) that causes severe itching and high bile acids. If you are between 20 and 35 weeks pregnant with one healthy baby and have high bile acids, you may be able to join.

Who can take part
- You are female, between 18 and 50 years old.
- You have a single, healthy pregnancy (not twins or triplets) between 20 and 35 weeks.
- You have been diagnosed with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP).
- Your total bile acid levels are 19 micromoles per liter or higher.
- Your baby does not have any known serious health problems, and there is no plan to deliver within the next week.
