Who can take part
- You are between 40 and 80 years old and have been diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson's disease.
- You see a neurologist regularly and your Parkinson's medications have been stable for at least 3 months.
- Your Parkinson's is at stage 1, 2, or 3 on a scale doctors use (Modified Hoehn-Yahr).
- You can stand up on your own and walk with or without a walker or cane.
- You do not have severe memory problems (score 24 or higher on a mental status test).
- You do not have other serious health issues like uncontrolled heart or lung problems, active infections, or skin conditions that could make water therapy unsafe.
