Who can take part

  • You have at least one dental implant with diagnosed peri-implantitis (infection/inflammation around the implant)
  • The crown (artificial tooth) on that implant can be removed
  • You have not had non-surgical treatment for the implant infection in the last 6 months
  • You have not taken antibiotics in the last 3 months
  • You are not a smoker who smokes more than 10 cigarettes per day
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
