Who can take part

  • You must be either overweight (BMI 28 or higher) or at a healthy weight (BMI 18.5–23.9).
  • You must be between 18 and 40 years old.
  • You must be right-handed.
  • You cannot have diabetes, serious heart, liver, kidney, or stomach problems, or a history of brain or mental health issues like depression or epilepsy.
  • You cannot have metal implants or be claustrophobic (since you'll need an MRI).
