  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are able to understand and sign a consent form.
  • You are getting a medical procedure that uses medication to temporarily paralyze muscles.
  • The nerve monitor will be placed on your hand or forearm (not on your foot or ankle).
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You have no skin issues (scar, tattoo, injury) at the sensor site that could affect the reading.
