Who can take part
- Your child is 7 to 12 years old
- Your child experienced a frightening or harmful event and you think it could be causing trauma symptoms
- Your child has at least 5 post-trauma stress symptoms, including either “re-living” the event or avoiding reminders
- The event happened at least 1 month ago, and your child had enough memory of it (at least 3 years old at the time)
- Your child can privately tell the therapist that they feel safe at home and that there is no ongoing trauma happening
- You are not currently using another trauma-focused treatment
