Protein and muscle loss during leg immobilization

This study tests how different amounts of dietary protein affect your muscles when your leg is temporarily immobilized in a brace. If you are a healthy, active adult, you might help researchers learn how to prevent muscle loss during periods of reduced activity.

How knee position affects muscle loss during leg immobilization

This study looks at how keeping one leg still (immobilized) affects muscle loss, and whether the position of your knee changes that. It may help researchers find better ways to prevent muscle wasting in people who can't move a leg.
