Who can take part

  • You must be 18 to 60 years old.
  • You must have a diagnosis of lupus (systemic lupus erythematosus) based on the 2019 EULAR/ACR criteria.
  • You must have at least one lupus-related skin rash (acute, subacute, or chronic).
  • You cannot have other autoimmune diseases like dermatomyositis or systemic sclerosis.
  • You cannot have a serious infection, cancer, or be pregnant.
  • You cannot have used biologic therapy or strong immunosuppressant pulses in the last month.
