- You have a confirmed diagnosis of bile duct cancer that has spread or come back and cannot be surgically removed.
- You have not received any chemotherapy or other systemic therapy for advanced disease.

- You are able to perform daily activities with little or no help (ECOG 0-1).
- Your major organs (bone marrow, kidneys, liver, heart) are working well enough based on blood tests and heart tests.
