Sleep Apnea and Heart Attack Study

Sleep Disordered Breathing (SDB)

Part of Brain & nervous system, Lungs & breathing clinical trials.

This study looks at how sleep apnea (pauses in breathing during sleep) affects people who have had a heart attack or unstable angina. It aims to understand the link between these conditions and build a better way to predict health outcomes.

Sleep apnea and small heart blood vessel health study

This study looks at whether low oxygen levels during sleep (from obstructive sleep apnea) are linked to problems in the tiny blood vessels of the heart. If you are already scheduled for a heart test called a coronary angiogram, you may be able to join and help understand this connection.

Study apnea after stroke to prevent new heart events

This trial looks at sleep apnea (breathing pauses during sleep) in people soon after a first stroke or a TIA, to see if it can be linked to new cardiovascular (heart/blood vessel) events. It also aims to make sure you can safely follow the study and rehabilitation plan.
