  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have cancer pain that hasn't been helped by other treatments
  • You are scheduled to have a cordotomy procedure as part of your regular care
  • You can have an MRI (no metal implants or severe anxiety in closed spaces)
  • You agree to have MRI scans the day after the procedure and one month later
