Vestibular rehab for teens and adults with post-concussion syndrome

This study tests if a special type of physical therapy that focuses on balance and eye movement (vestibular rehabilitation) works better than regular physical therapy for athletes who have ongoing symptoms after a mild concussion. If you are between 12 and 30 and still having symptoms from a concussion you got 3 to 12 weeks ago, you may be able to join.

Who can take part

  • Age between 12 and 30 years old
  • Had a mild concussion (mild traumatic brain injury) 3 to 12 weeks ago
  • Still have at least 3 concussion symptoms that started within 3 days of the injury, like headache, dizziness, or trouble concentrating
  • Show problems with balance or eye movement on a standard exam
  • No other serious medical conditions like uncontrolled high blood pressure or a pacemaker, and not taking certain psychiatric medications
