Who can take part

  • You are between 2 and 17 years old.
  • You were diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 3 to 6 months ago.
  • You have a positive antibody test for type 1 diabetes.
  • You use multiple daily insulin injections or an insulin pump (with a feature that stops insulin if low blood sugar is predicted).
  • You or your parents know how to count carbohydrates.
  • You have a smartphone that can run the Dexcom G6 app and are willing to use the Dexcom G6 sensor and app throughout the study.
