Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You had surgery for type A aortic dissection within the last 30 days.
  • After surgery, a CT scan shows there is still a tear in the aorta and the false channel is not fully clotted.
  • The false channel in your chest aorta is larger than the true channel.
  • You are willing to sign a consent form and follow the study plan.
