Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have been newly diagnosed with early-stage tongue cancer that was completely removed by surgery.
- The cancer was only in the front two-thirds of your tongue and had not spread to lymph nodes.
- Your cancer had at least one risk factor like nerve invasion, cancer cells in blood vessels, or moderate to low differentiation.
- You have not had radiation, chemotherapy, or targeted therapy before, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You are generally well enough to be up and about (ECOG score 0-2).
