Who can take part

  • You are at least 35 years old.
  • You have either diagnosed Parkinson's (stiffness type) or you are a healthy volunteer.
  • You are not pregnant, not breastfeeding, and able to have an MRI (no metal implants, claustrophobia, etc.).
  • You do not take certain medications like antipsychotics or gabapentinoids.
  • You do not have severe depression or other neurological conditions besides Parkinson's.
