Who can take part

  • You have nerve pain in one or both legs that has lasted more than 6 months, caused by failed back surgery or a specific nerve injury.
  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You have tried other treatments (like physical therapy or surgery) for your pain before.
  • If you use opioids, your daily dose is less than the morphine equivalent of 50 mg.
  • You live close enough to Oslo to travel there for appointments.
  • You can speak and understand Norwegian well enough for therapy sessions.
  • You are willing to take an active part in a program that combines a spinal cord stimulator with counseling and physical therapy.
