Who can take part
- You are 50 years or older.
- You have a cataract that is causing vision problems (your vision is 20/25 or worse even with glasses).
- You do not have other eye problems like corneal swelling, glaucoma, or macular disease.
- If you wear contacts, you'll need to stop wearing them for 2 weeks (soft lenses) or 1 month (hard lenses) before measurements.
- You are not having any other eye surgery at the same time.
- If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you cannot join.
