Who can take part

  • You are 50 years or older.
  • You have a cataract that makes your vision cloudy or blurry.
  • Your best corrected vision (with glasses) is 20/25 or worse.
  • You do not have other serious eye problems like corneal swelling, glaucoma, or prior eye injury.
  • You are not planning to have other eye surgeries at the same time.
  • You are not a woman who could become pregnant.
