Who can take part

  • Your baby must be about 2 months old (between 6 weeks and 3 months).
  • Your baby must have been born full-term (at least 37 weeks) and weigh more than 5.5 pounds at birth.
  • Your baby must be generally healthy, with no serious medical conditions like immune problems, major birth defects, or seizures.
  • Your baby cannot have already received a pneumococcal vaccine.
  • Your baby cannot have severe allergies to any vaccine ingredient or to latex.
